The Chamonix Valley lift system allows you to gain height quickly, but then walk away from the hustle and bustle of the ski resort to relish the exhilarating views and mountain air in peace and tranquility. Whether you are a new visitor to the Alps in winter, or are looking for an alternative to skiing and climbing, snow shoeing can offer you a wide variety of different ways to enjoy the mountain landscape.

Snow shoeing is quick to learn, involves relatively inexpensive equipment, and is suitable for any age group, from children to grandparents. It can be as easy or demanding as you choose.
