Insurance All Clients must be fully insured for climbing in the Alps.
Remember to include the travel days if you are taking out a short-term policy.

If you have your own private medical insurance then joining the AAC
gives you a basic annual worldwide cover for skiing and
mountaineering (Check the exclusions !) and reductions for hut fees as
part of the membership package. It will not cover you for a major
medical emergency that requires a lengthy hospital stay abroad. Their
